Tip for November 1998
Question: My vehicle is blowing white smoke out the tail pipe. What can cause this?
Answer:White smoke means something that shouldnt be is getting into the combustion chamber(s). It could be coolant or transmission fluid. This is something that can be inexpensive or very, very expensive to repair. Either way it needs to be repaired or serious engine damage can result.
